Went in knowing exactly what I wanted a Honda. It ended up being the last naked sport bike there. The entire time from when I walked in to once I left with the exception on the boss, I was being pressured into buying a FJ-07. I rejected it every time. It was like having a little sister on my back nagging me! In the end got a great bike for a great deal!
BUYERS BEWARE! If you plan on buying a used bike, avoid this place. Purchased a 2014 Suzuki Boulevard which was listed at $3,999 (ended up being $4,999 because salesman Nick Rosenberg said it was an honest mistake and that " he wouldn't make any money off of it"). I took his word for it that it was a legit bike and finalized deal. I also purchased an extended service warranty for the bike just to be on the safe side. A week later the bike leaks oil from engine so I take it in to service department (bike was running fine but after paying $4,999+ an oil leak was unacceptable to me). Was then told by service dept. that it was a matter of replacing a few old gaskets and they fixed it. After a week of riding, engine is leaking oil from the exact same spot. Take it in again and after a couple days they tell me the head is potentially warped and that they would run it through service contract (they also told me warranty did cover previous job and that they took a loss, as if it were my fault). After a long bureaucratic process, warranty denies my claim and Vey's charges me $650 for supposedly reassembling and fixing the head themselves. 3 months later I received my bike hoping this nightmare was over, but the very next day after taking it home bike stalls out on me on freeway and I was left stranded until they towed it. They kept my bike for another 2 weeks and let me know it was an electrical problem and that they would fix it for free (leaving my bike out in the rain didn't help). So I got it back again and now I have a $4,999+ bike that sounds like a lawn-mower and is running worse than when I took it in with the oil leak. Was told by a couple employees that buying used bikes (like my particular model) from Vey's isn't always a good idea, that legit dealerships like yamaha/honda would have been a better option. Wish they would have told me before that before making the purchase. I also want to note that I never even received the registration stickers on it, I've paid 6 months on a bike I've only ridden for less than a month. I requested a refund from accounting on the warranty I purchased for $695 which essentially was useless, they still haven't gotten back to me. I would have been better off buying on craigslist.
I ordered a part on Wednesday I explained to the representative this is my only means of transportation. The representative told me it would be in by Friday. No problem there.
I arrange for a ride on Saturday and thankfully I called them before I left. They didn't have the part and had no idea where it was. They called me back about an hour later. Telling me the computer system on the manufacturer's side messed up the order and the parts had to come from the east coast. So the parts would not be in until Thursday.
I call around to other shops and they told me if I ordered it from them I could get it in the same timeframe. I call Veys back and ask why it takes them 7 business days when everyone else could get it in 4. They then admit even though I already paid for the parts the representative did not place the order. Had I not called who knows when they would have gotten around to doing it.
I call everyday asking for an update. They tell me Thursday by 2 pm. I call Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday with them saying the same thing. I call Thursday and they say not until after 5:30 pm. One person said sorry the entire time. They promised a discount but none was given. I would not recommend this place for anything or to anyone. This includes my enemies. They are dishonest, and lie to cover up their mistakes and make promises they have no intention of keeping. They put me out over a week with no ride of my own because they were to lazy to place the order or do anykind of follow up. Bottom line stay away!!!!!!
I went into the store in March to inquire about a 2015 Yamaha FJ-09 that I was interested in. Sent the store an email, a guy by the name of Andrey replied to my email and said to come down and take a look. I stopped by the next day and to my dismay, they didn't actually have the bike there, but nontheless I was more curious about what kind of numbers I was looking at. About half an hour later I had some numbers in my hand with a promise from Scott that he would keep searching for better numbers since it was a weekend and most banks were closed. Few days later, they gave me a call back and had much better and more affordable numbers for me, even with my not so fantastic credit score, so I went for it. They helped me out and hooked me up with a very affordable monthly payment and shopped around to find me great insurance rates, so needles to say I was pretty happy. Ontop of that, they threw in a very nice ICON jacket, an HJC helmet, and some gloves for colder weather riding, so I was set to go. This wasn't my first bike, not by a long shot, but it was nice to have all new gear to go with the all new bike.
About 2 weeks ago I came back in to see if parts could help me out with a warranty claim on the jacket since it was ripping apart at some of the seams already from just normal use, never crashed, and they helped me out with that and threw me a brand new jacket off the shelf in the color I wanted (originally black, new one is blue), so they helped me out bike time. Just today I brought my FJ-09 in for servicing as I suspected it had some issues with the shifter shaft, and sure enough after they did some digging they found the recall was never done by the dealership that PDI'd the bike- a quick phone call to me to let me know and I had a slot in the service department to have it done. I highly recommend seeing these guys if you ever need some help with your bike, finding parts, need some gear, or are just wanting to get into a new bike. They will take good care of you, just ask to talk with MOLO (Andrey) and he will make it his priority to get you onto a new bike at rates you can afford.
It's been long over due. I had the best customers service when I got my very 1st bike. I had no clue about motorcycles. Mark answer all my questions. Wasn't rushing me or trying to make a sell. I stopped the shop a few times before I was ready to buy a motorcycle. No doubt I wanted to come back to VEYS and get my 1st bike from them. They went on and beyond the extra mile to get me the bike I wanted. I have never been soo happy and excited to have a nice looking motorcycle like the one I got from VEYS. I have to give the big thanks to Scott he's the manager he helped me and my wife alot during the process and made it so smooth and easy. Over all I'm a satisfying customer they deserve 5 stars. I'm defenetly coming back for my 2nd motorcycle and the 3rd... THANKS SCOTT AND MARK FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE
