Scott Schulz10/17/12Called ahead and they said no appointment needed. Once I got there came in and handed over my renewal notice but there were a couple cars ahead of me. the Person running the counter kept coming in and out saying to everyone there they are working on it now. But never said who she was talking about. Apparently their Dyno kept breaking every 10 min so they had to restart it several times. Then after 30 min waiting she came back in saying they need to restart the Dyno again and it would take another 30 min. By that time I left and will never come back.Eric Kolbeck07/25/12Patience required! 90 Minute Smog is more like it. I had an appointment and it took 30 minutes to pull it into the bay and another 60 minutes before I was paying. The person in the office just kept saying it's being worked on, without any time estimate. To top it off, it was $72 dollars. I should have shopped around. I should have cut my loss after 30 minutes. Now I known and now you know. If you expect your vehicle back at a certain time then go somewhere else! I now know why. I came in at 11:30am, signed in and was told I could leave for about 90min because of 2 other cars ahead of me. "Okay, I'll eat lunch", I told myself and returned a bit early at 12:40pm to ensure I wasn't skipped. I actually left there at 4pm! While waiting, there were customers that came and left because either I told them how long I'd been waiting or because they waited for 30min without anyone even coming to the front desk. I only reason I kept my sanity was that I could read a book on my smart phone. (Disclaimer: I too would have left for another place but my car was too new for the other place and with a DMV appointment the next day, I was stuck)Don Machado05/28/08Doesn't even cover it - I called in the morning to ask if I should make an appointment - the guy who answered the phone assured me that appointments weren't necessary and to bring it in... So, when I get there around 9am, there roll doors are all down, and the office is locked up tighter than a drum! This is after I had already called and talked to someone mind you... I had no choice but to leave and go to work... I called later in the afternoon and a woman answered - she seemed as baffled as I was about the lack of any employees there at 9am when the signs obviously state they are open at 8am. So I make an appointment with her, (not that I needed one) and show up promptly at 4:45 to have my 15minute check. I finally signed my paperwork and got out of there at 6:30pm - so my "15 minute" check lasted almost 2 hours - Oh, they do have a 'disclaimer' posted on the wall stating the 15 minutes starts when they insert the probe into the exhaust (insert comment here) - Im sure it was posted because of similar complaints about the time. On the brighter side, the employees were friendly and the place seemed clean. But plan on spending a good portion of your day in their waiting room.Phillip Youn02/14/09they're fast, but curt with everything. reflects in their customer service. i called to see what time they were open till, lady on the phone hung up before i was done with my questions. dont bother with this place.
