1 Stars - So before I say anything, let me tell you this was my first brand new car buy. The salesman were telling me about a survey that would be emailed to me to fill out and give them a good review. However, after dealing with these guys more, and having to bring my new car in to get a sensor replaced (less than 24hours after I bought it), they could see I wasn't happy. I then received an email saying thanks for filling out the survey. I had never filled it out, I can only think that the salesmen filled it out as me. I was not happy with the service here. I'm happy with my car, now that I haven't had to bring it in anymore, but the interaction with the guys here was pretty awful. Maybe this is what I should expect when buying new cars? I hope not though.
Follow up on 6/29: The salesman told me I would be able to plug my iPhone in to stream music. I haven't been able to get this to work, and was assuming it was a user error (me). Brought it in this weekend, and the service guys said neither of the usb ports stream music through the system and that this question has come up before. The service guys were very nice and honest. However, this goes back to the salesman not being honest. Per your comment below, here's a opportunity to change my view on the dealership... let me know how I can get this to do what the salesman told me it would do.
1 Stars - Horrible dealership. I had a service light and a shifter problem in our 2013 Ram (purchased late in the year, less than 2 years old). My husband pulled the code and diagnosed the shifter problem via the multiple pages of people having the same problem when doing a google search, brought the vehicle in to the dealership, gave them the code and told them what's wrong with the shifter. Of course they have never heard of this problem. (Google "Ram will not shift out of park" and see how many hits you get).
4 (hour each way) trips later the truck was finally repaired correctly. This is after they replaced the entire shifter assembly (not the problem) at a cost of $850 which still didn't fix the problem. They refused to admit fault and said their machine pulls more codes than ours (ours was borrowed from a friend who works at a dealership) so this is a flat out lie. They would only swap back shifters at the full labor price to do so even though it was their fault for replacing the wrong part to begin with. In the end they replaced the shift interlock solenoid which was what my husband originally told them to do.
As for the check engine light- it was for a low fuel sensor which my husband told them and gave them the code for. They ordered the wrong part and charged us $213 to pull the same code that he gave them, yep another trip back to the dealership. Keep in mind the fuel system and the shifter (which is connected to the transmission) are not a part of the power train warranty. After almost 8 hours of driving time back and forth to the dealership, and a $1000 bill for a less than two year old truck I will never again deal with this dealership or buy another Ram. No courtesy car, not even a car wash. Be warned this place sucks.
The last time I picked it up the service manager was not in and I was "not allowed to talk to the GM". Ridiculous!
5 Stars - Dean was great to work with and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. He made it a very pleasant experience to purchase our new Challenger.
rufus leroy johnston
1 Stars - I'm 66 and this was the worst buying experience ever.
This is the 4th new 1500 in the last 12 years.
Salesmen were ripoff artists.
Sales manager must be the owners son because there is no way he could hold a job anywhere with out being related to someone.
First thing they do is pull the plates off your trade in and take the keys and pickup to drive it somewhere to appraise it.
Was there 5 hours to buy a truck. Should be an hours torture at the most.
Told the salesman the clutchfan was engaged constantly.
He took it back to the shop, came back and told me the mechanic said it just needs break in time.
Had to drive 40 miles the next morning to have it replaced.
No jack or any tire tools.
Had to fight with Chrysler to get them to put them in the truck.
Didn't find this out until a 190 dollar tow truck later in Nebraska.
Absolutely do not buy a Dodge baseball cap from these idiots let alone a vehicle.
1 Stars - Stay away! Never again. Went in to get a water pump put on (thought it was the leaking problem, they put it on. When we went to pick it up, today, they mentioned doing a pressure check and found a little leak. They didn't say where it was, but could find out after about 3 hours of labor. When we got home, about a gallon of coolant had leaked out (not so little of a leak). So, we payed $200 to have the water pump installed (Water Pump WASN'T the issue) and then they wanted to charge for labor to have the actual problem fixed. The problem was the thermostat housing. These folks are just in it for the money. Standard crooked mechanics. Go somewhere else.
