5 Stars - I've purchased one car from Alex Tristan at Valley Nissan and have helped a friend purchase a second car there. My first experience with Alex was the friendliest, most honest, and most attentive car-buying experience I've ever had (and I'm in my 50s, so that means something). Alex is knowledgeable, concerned for his customers, and one of the hardest workers I've ever met in ANY field. When I brought my friend back to buy a car at Valley Nissan, my friend was a challenge, to be sure--and Alex worked just as hard and with just as much care, enthusiasm and kindness as he did the first time around. Lewis is a great manager, too. He's fair and honest, and in car-buying, that's exactly what you need. I'll likely buy all my future cars from Valley Nissan. They made me a die-hard Nissan fan, and a die-hard return customer to Valley Nissan. Oh, also the finance guy we worked with--Philip I believe was his name--made the usually grueling finance session fun. He was honest, straightforward, and we were in and out in a matter of minutes. We bought the "prepaid service plan," which is a great deal!
5 Stars - I feel that Valley Nissan service department is excellent. Each time I bring in my vehicle for a service or MFG recall, I was highly respected by everyone there. I am not only getting the respect from those who served me and my vehicle, but also the service on my vehicle is great too. I will always want to bring my vehicle there for any type of service no matter what.
4 Stars - This is an updated review of Valley Nissan. I originally contacted them back in February about a potential car purchase. I saw their Internet ad price on a used car and I contacted them through the website with a bona fide cash offer that was a few hundred dollars less than their asking price. I quickly received an email from a salesman telling me to drive on down because he was pretty sure they could make that happen. I reached out to determine what "pretty sure" meant, and spent the next 2 hours getting jerked around by a salesman trying to haggle a price he had no authority to haggle. In the end, he couldn't even come close to the prices he had actually offered to me.
My initial impression of this dealership was as negative as you could get, and I wrote them off as a dealership who played games and used unethical methods to try and get you on their lot to pressure you into a higher price than you expected.
I posted a review here and on another site to share my experience. Within 24 hours, I received a response from Jake Liberatore thanking me for my review, apologizing for the salesman's behavior, and asking me to contact him so he could at least discuss the issue with me directly. I was a little pessimistic, but the next day I gave Jake a call.
Jake was very professional and seemed genuinely concerned about the situation. I gave him my opinion of the encounter and he agreed that based on reading the exchange between myself and the salesman, my concerns were valid and my account of the incident was correct. He apologized again and assured me this was not how they conducted business. He told me they had met with their staff and extensively with that specific salesman and had discussed why this was not acceptable.
Then Jake asked me if he could talk to the sales manager and get back to me about the car in question. I said sure, and I expected him to make an offer somewhere in between mine and their original price. An hour later, I received an email with an offer in writing that matched my original offer dollar for dollar. I did not expect this, but Jake was going out of his way to make things right. I agreed to their offer and told them I could come by the next day to hand them cash in exchange for the car - I needed to wait until I had a second driver to come with me. They agreed to hold the car for me without any deposit and have it waiting for me.
Once I got to the dealership, I met Jake in person as well as Tom King, the Sales Manager. They were both extremely professional. The deal went smoothly. The car was delivered in excellent condition and there was no pressure to upsell anything. I did have to explain to them that for a cash sale under $10K (literally bills in hand), I did not have to provide my SSN or sign any forms for the cash transaction. Once I reminded them of the legal limit, they agreed. Overall, my experience with Jake and at his dealership was extremely positive.
I am providing a 4 star rating of the dealership because Jake did give 5 star service, but the initial bad experience never completely goes away. But at the end of the day, this dealer had an employee really mistreat a customer and they went above and beyond to make it right. Next time I am in the market for a used car, I will definitely give Valley Nissan a shot at my business again.
5 Stars - I bought a new 2015 Subaru Forester for my wife and I was treated great and got a great deal too. I service my Nissan there and have always had great luck with their service department, so I thought that I would give their sales department a try, and I am sure glad that I did. Valley is by far the best Nissan and Subaru dealership in the state. If you want excellent service and a great deal, definitely go see the people at Valley!
5 Stars - Valley Nissan is AMAZING!!! I bought my first car from Valley Nissan and I will buy my future vehicles from Valley Nissan as well! From the second I stepped on the lot I was greeted by a nice man named, Victor Madera. I loved how he could answer all my questions with ease, which made me feel more comfortable that I was working with someone who had extensive knowledge on cars. I was worried about buying my first car but Victor truly made my experience memorable. He is an excellent listener and worked diligently to take all of my requests that I wanted out of a vehicle and found the perfect vehicle for me and my family. Tim the manager, was very helpful in the process as well. I did not feel like I was being forced into purchasing a car from a pushy car salesman. I felt very comfortable working with Victor and Tim, and will ask for them the next time I am in the market for another car- they are the best! Now that I have my new car I am very happy with my purchase and absolutely recommend Valley Nissan and Victor Madera to anyone looking for a car. =)

5 Stars - I was able to fly for 30 minutes taking off and landing here at Vance Brand. They have a small waiting area, but there are very nice people there. It's a fun airport to be at to watch the planes fly over your head when taking off!
