5 Stars - Never been disappointed here. Great customer service. I wish I could remember his name but there's this black guy with glasses who works on the cellphone section. Every time I upgrade or have questions I go to him. He's super knowledgeable. Everyone is.
2 Stars - My apologies to bother the associates while they were gossiping.
Went in to pick up a Bluetooth headset. Walked back and forth through the phone department and past a group of associates looking very lost without any offer of assistance. When I interrupted them to ask, I received an eye roll and the "unlucky" associate hollered "don't go anywhere, I'll be right back". Unfortunately, I'm the type of customer who asks lots of questions on a technology purchase....After I guess my limit of three questions he just walked away back to the group.
Then on to the cashiers....All three were on their phones! I again felt as if I were interrupting them with the task of serving a customer!
3 Stars - What was first a great experience became bad and now is worse. I purchased a laptop ($1k plus purchase) for my son to use for college. He attends college here in Georgia but a lot of his course work is done on line. Less than 6 mos after purchase, the computer lid and screen started separating from one another and he could not even close the lid. He took it to Best Buy Geek Squad who supposedly sent it back to the manufacturer, this was on December 27th. He has been told it was being worked on, being sent back, still needs another part, it's being tested, etc. Eventually he was given the phone # for the manufacturer who asked for the serial # of the computer on the work order and they told him that serial # is not one of their products. They do not have his computer. Turns out it was sent to Best Buy Service Center, but they cannot find it either by the serial # that was put on the work order, so his computer is lost. He also found out from the service center directly that there has been no activity regarding his computer since January 9th (one of the days he inquired into the status of its repair/return to him). So there is no record of my son's computer and they will not refund my money (we have the receipt) nor exchange it. They say he has to wait 30 days. His course work cannot wait 30 days. I suggest you do not purchase from this store. If you do and need repairs, deal directly with the manufacturer for any product you buy. Unless I am refunded my money or the situation is rectified soon with my son's computer returned to him or a direct exchange, I definitely will never purchase anything from Best Buy again and will put out the word, particularly regarding the Savannah store.
1 Stars - Horrible experience. Went in to purchase a laptop or all-in-one desktop for work. I had several questions and couldn't find anyone in the computer department. Every sales associate kept sending me to different people or telling me that someone would be coming. I ended up just figuring it out on my own, 30 minutes later. Purchased a laptop that was "in transit" to store, then I received an email later that said item is no longer available!
5 Stars - Love this best buy to be honest. Great store and excellent service.
