I decided to enroll for this school's driving lessons considering that they were charging 40 bucks an hour which was a really good deal considering the astronomical amounts that other schools charge and the reviews on their website suggested that it would be a good decision to join. I was wrong to trust my instincts mainly due to my instructor who supposedly taught me, a person who had never driven before, driving. The first day he went to some location in South Atlanta despite giving him the right address in Midtown. I could pardon that error as he didn't cut any time from the scheduled appointment. I was being cautious while driving , especially while turning, like any other new driver would be and he would prod me to step on the gas while turning which is something that NO driver should do. Still, I decided to enroll for more classes considering the good reviews that the instructor had got. Being a student, I cannot afford to spend more than an hour for lessons on weekdays and asked if I could enroll for lessons on an hourly basis. He agreed and had 2 more hourly lessons. He would still chide me for taking a "slow" turn and would ask me to step on the gas. I began to wonder if he really knew what he was talking about since most drivers do slow down while turning. I decided to have a 2 hour session after a week from my previous lesson. This was the time I realized that this guy is completely unprofessional. He made me drive to some parking lot to practice parallel parking. He chided me for being too cautious! I would think that most drivers need to be cautious while driving and not endanger others by driving recklessly. He said that I would not pass the driving exam since I was not practicing in another car. Well, if I had a car to practice, why would I want to enroll in a driving school? He had the gall to tell me that it was my fault since I enrolled for hourly sessions than 2 hours and that was why my driving skills had not improved. I was taken aback by this attitude and felt that he wanted to extract more money from me. I carried on with the parallel parking practice and did it for about 10-15 times to perfect it. Kelvin would just talk on the phone to somebody while pretending to pay attention to me. At this point, I decided to part ways with this school. I took some lessons from another instructor and realized that the previous instructor just taught me the wrong set of skills which would have just endangered other drivers too. I finally took the test and passed it with a good score. I hope that instructor is no longer working with this business.

I took 3 classes that were 2hrs each. i chose this school because it was the cheapest. $80 a lesson is far better than other schools that charged $170 a lesson. Jeanelle was my instructor and she was very patient and calm. as a first time driver with only three classes and no outside practice, i passed the road test on the first try. basically i only drove for 6hr total before the test. It helps to take them back to back if you plan on doing it that way. i had no way of practicing with someone elses car in between classes and the test. be prepared to start on the road right away. we only went to the parking lot to learn how to park
