1 Stars - A lot of excuses to solve my steering wheel alignment and never resolve even after 3visits..Free car washing was really free it was a joke dirt still visible after..my problem was silved my midcity subaru..im not going back in this place...
1 Stars - Manager here sucks and is unprofessional. Can't even file a complaint about their service. Seriously need new management here.
5 Stars - We got a terrific deal on a great car, an Outback. The service has been outstanding. Highly recommended.
5 Stars - Just bought a Forester from these folks. It was the best car-shopping experience I've ever had. The price was quite reasonable, and they are very upfront about how pricing is done. No haggling, no waiting around while the sales rep "talks with their manager". I wish all dealers did business this way.
1 Stars - Run or drive away as fast as you can!!!!
I drove 75+ miles to go to Evanston Subaru. I had printed a list of three used 2013 Outbacks that were all advertised on their website. Upon arrival Ron David helped me. He seemed nice enough. He looked up the cars and told me that the Outback with 6k miles was not on the lot because one of the employees DAUGHTERS was borrowing it (?!) and he could have it for me to look at tomorrow.... Clearly not going to work because I came from out of state. The other two cars, that were 10k and 11k miles were 'available to see'...BUT I was warned that they were being used by staff members as personal vehicles (huh, is this common??). I saw one of the cars and it was filled with personal belongings (loose change, receipts, dry cleaning bag) and it clearly hadn't been detailed in a while. Not only that, but the odometer on the 10k car now had 13k miles. Clearly their staff have been driving them personally for some time... The second car was 'conveniently' nowhere to be found as another employee was using that for his own personal car and was out to lunch or some nonsense. Never got to see that one, but they said he 'didn't live as far from work...so they would guess that the mile would be somewhere aroun 12k now instead of 11k.' When I questioned this, Ron had the Used Car Manager come over (Alan). He said he allows the sales team to use the cars on the lot and that he was 'sorry'. He said he updated the webpage to reflect the new odometer readings on the vehicles and wasn't aware the sales staff were putting to many miles on the cars. At one point he even held his hand up to "shush" me as I was telling him how dishonest the dealership was being. He also didn't shake my hand at the end of the conversation and preferred to answer his ringing phone. I was so irate that I had wasted so much time when I was ready to buy a car (would have been my third Subaru). I cannot believe personal use of lot vehicles is allowed and cannot believe they are a REAL certified dealership. I feel like they are knowingly posting false information on their website. I wouldn't ever give them a dime of my money.
