1 Stars - I purchased a 2009 Nissan Rogue SL AWD on 5/19/15. I drove the car home only to notice that the tire sensor was missing and the washer fluid cap was missing. I called the sales guy that sold it to me and he said that since I bought the car for $2,000 less than what it was priced at, they couldn't make these "small" repairs. Then he proceeded to say that I should go to an Auto Zone or O'Reilly for the washer fluid cap and tire sensor. He told me that we had discussed buying the car "as is." I checked all of the email threads about buying the car and no where in them did we discuss buying the car "as is". I few days later, I noticed the hand controls for the audio on the steering wheel were not working right. Once again I called and was told that I bought the car "as is". I DID NOT DISCUSS BUYING THE CAR "AS IS" WITH ANYONE. This has been a horrible experience for buying a car and I will not refer anyone or buy from McEleney's again.
I am so appalled with the salesman that sold me the car. These are the people that McEleney trusts to sell their cars and treat customers right.
Update: After speaking with the Owner, John McEleney, the tire sensor and washer fluid cap are going to be replaced. The hand controls on the steering wheel is still to be discussed.
5 Stars - I have been looking for a car now for along time and I could not find anyone to help until I went here. They helped me find the perfect car for a great deal. Ted, was excellent at helping me with all my needs and take care and listing to me and what i needed and was looking for. They helped to find me a loan to achieve this. I would buy another car from here. Thank you Guys for all your hard work. :)
1 Stars - I called about a car in the morning and they said it was still on the lot. I told the sales person I would be there sometime in the afternoon and he said fine. I drove 60 miles and found the person I talked to on the phone and he said he was the IT manager and he would find a sales person. He introduced me to a young in sales. He said he would go fetch the car. He was gone for a long time and finally showed up. He said "the car was out of gas". Believe me he could have driven across town and back and still made it to the front of the dealership in a shorter time that it actually took him. So we decided I would take the car for a spin, he had the air on with the fan blowing on high, that was fine except YOU COULDN'T TURN THE FAN DOWN OR OFF! This car had a sticker on the window saying it had passed inspection. What did that inspection entail- opening and closing the doors? How could a car pass an inspection and miss something as basic as this? No one ever looked at this car, believe me. No gas and a heating and air conditioning fan that could not be turned down or off!
Poor Blake was caught in the crossfire on this one. His mechanics and service people let him and I down, pure and simple.
To make things worse the sales manager showed up toward the end of this fiasco and offered me half what my trade-in was worth.
A very poor showing, I would stay away from this dealership.........pretty shady!
1 Stars - I bought a vehicle from this establishment. This dealership pulled 5 hard credit reports for 5 different banks on 06/21/14 without my authorization. My credit was excellent before this. This was not appreciated. I will never visit your establishment again.
5 Stars - What a great business to buy your next vehicle. I use my car for my traveling sales career and I put lots of miles on in a short period of time. This means I needed low miles but still need low prices since it will be such a short time until I buy again. I started looking in December and couldn't find a business that made me feel welcome until I was driving through Clinton and saw McEleney out my window. I read a few reviews and saw lots of great compliments, so I wanted to see if they were true...BOY WERE THEY!!! I have had my vehicle for a few weeks and am so glad I stopped in to check it out. Matt Ripper welcomed me in the door and got to know me and what I needed. I felt welcome, the customer service was great, they worked with me to find exactly what I needed and helped keep my cost low, then took me through all the details of the Toyota Rav4 so I knew my way around the vehicle without having to read through the manual. This was by far my best experience purchasing a vehicle and I will gladly return to buy my next one. The personnel is top notch and I highly recommend you see for yourselves.
