anthony owens07/07/15would not go here ever again. I got a 2007 chevy cobalt from them and the car has been giving me problems since day 1. A guy named travis sold me this lemon car and I email him and never get responses. My car has been in their service center twice and they had my car for almost two weeks and my car still makes clicking noises when backng up or turning and the engine if you let the car sit struggles. I am very upset and feel they dont car about their customers or their satisfaction. This is my first time buying a car for myself and gotta say worst expericene everChitakia Nash01/16/15Worked With Travis From The Coralville Superstore, He Is The Best!!!! If Your Looking For A Good Car At A Great Prics Go To Travis. He Was Very Professional And Understood My Situation Completely. He Went Above & Beyond To Make Sure I Got The Perfect Car And I Really Appreciate It. This Is My Second Car I Purchased From The Superstore I'll Definitely Recommend Shopping Here.Kelsey Blount03/25/15Let me just say this...I've been officially scared away from ever buying a used car again. Not just from this store, but from every store. I would have chalked our experience up to bad luck (cars break down sometimes, or need repairs, it -happens-), but more recently I have decided that we were pretty much sold either a lemon or this Superstore doesn't particularly take the time to be honest with the customer regarding what condition their car is in. Either that or they're just too lazy to even look over their stock before putting it on the floor. We bought a car in 2012, first car that wasn't just a throwaway Craigslist thing. We were really excited, I brought along my dad, etc, to help us look. If its not obvious, we're not very big "car" people - just wanted something that would run, look decent, and probably last us a couple of years. We were weaseled into getting the useless and expensive warantees and ended up spending much more than I had stated I even wanted to spend. But in the end, we got the car, and were happily driving off. Cut to a few months later, we started having issues with an engine light. Turns out one of the O2 sensors were bad. Replaced it. Six months later, another engine light. Other random stuff. This continued on, and I figured it was just bad luck. There was broken ABS due to the fact that it is -so- rusted that they couldn't replace a part to fix it without spending several hours drilling through the rust. And here's the kicker, what made me write this review - the other day we got a flat tire, sure, that's fine, we replace it with the spare and head home. Take it in to get it fixed and the mechanic tells us the entire time we've had the car we've had the wrong size of tires for our vehicle. Not only is this dangerous as all hell but it caused several of the tires to popcorn and be warped. Naturally we're replacing them, out of pocket, with our own money. That's 700 dollars because Coralville Used Car Superstore didn't even check to ensure that the car had the right kind of tires before selling it to us or they certainly knew and sold it to us anyway without even a notion of telling us. So there's that. Never buying from a used car store again, let alone this place. I've learned my lesson. At least name brand dealerships have a quality to uphold, this place seems to only care about sales.John Correia01/22/15Please stop calling me. I don't need financing I have cash cash cash, but not for a down payment on some high mileage high price lemon. I honestly just wanted to test drive 2 vehicles but that never happened because all they wanted was to put me through some credit approval process... They didn't even show me one car just financing crap. Placed smelled of the quick 1-2 sale for suckers. Fast talking sign on the line now we have you lets pick your car for you scheme... Im not a big fan of this type of sales approachJake Underwood10/01/14I'd have to say this is the best car dealer experience I have ever had. Scott Wubben was extremely helpful and worked hard to find the car that I wanted. The rest of the staff was great as well. I will be coming back for more vehicles and sending family and friends as well. Thank you Coralville Used Car Superstore for all your help.
