    Appointments are needed for driving tests. Make an appointment.

    On the first and third Friday of the month, the Knoxville office is closed. Drivers must go to Pella to renew licenses on these days.

    Driver's Notes:

    Driver's licenses are issued from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Written tests are given from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Drive tests are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday by appointment only. Motorcycle testing is 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday by seasonal appointment.

    CDL Notes:

    CDL drive tests are given from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
