5 Stars - It had been many years since I have stepped into Apple Ford Lincoln's service department and it has completely changed for the better; an extremely pleasant environment. I felt absolutely comfortable with the whole service process. I was greeted right away, written up promptly, offered a loaner (I took the shuttle - no need for a loaner) and was communicated to throughout the day about the status of repairs on my car and cost expectations. To my delight the bill ended up being lower than quoted, the car was cleaned, and they pulled it around for me. Service departments can be intimidating but Apple Ford Lincoln's service department was very friendly, low key, supportive, and most of all, honest. I would recommend the NEW Apple Ford Lincoln to anyone!
5 Stars - Dealing with Ed Karn was an enjoyable experience. He answered all of my questions, treated me with respect, worked patiently with me during the ordering process, and kept up regular updates once the order was placed. When the truck came in, Ed was quick to alert me and I truly appreciated that as I had wanted to take it to New York but wasn't sure if it would come in in time. This is the 3rd vehicle we bought from Apple Ford and 2 of them from Ed. Everytime we were treated in a way that brought us back. If we need another vehicle at some point, we will be back.
There was 1 draw back though and it is apparently a new arrangement by Apple Ford for Allstate Insurance to attempt to sell us car insurance under the guise of "confirming" we had insurance. Understanding the Allstate Rep was only doing his job, it still was an unpleasant experience for almost 30 minutes. Although he already knew we had insurance, he continued to try to sell us a policy. Not once did he ask for any proof of insurance, leading me to understand what his aim was and leaving me less than appreciative. THAT will not happen again!
2 Stars - I bought an F150 at Apple Ford two months ago. It only has 2025 miles on it. The engine is making a whining noise when I put it into park. I called the dealership expecting them to have a sense of urgency about making sure I am satisfied with my new purchase. I was told that I need to schedule an appointment four days from now. I am just too tired to invest the time arguing with them about it.
My wife took her 2014 Fusion in for service about four months ago, while she was waiting for someone to help her at the counter, three of the guys in the service department were in a screaming match with each other in the garage check-in area.
I am happy with Ford vehicles. The service department at Apple Ford is just not very good. I imagine the owner of this dealership does not get this kind of service. Their service department is a necessary evil if you live in Howard Co. If the service department is important to you when choosing a vehicle, I would not recommend this dealership.
1 Stars - The worse company ever...They sold me brand new car 2015 on Saturday and I wasnt able to use the car yet....Car wouldnt start....still in service center and nobody cares
1 Stars - If I could rate my experience as zero stars I would. I tried to book an appointment with apple ford service department. I purchased an extended service package for my SUV. I called 3 times and was routed to the full service department. I was then sent to a service rep who sent me to another service rep who sent me to a service reps voice mail (3 times). I called back and she put me on hold and tried to reach someone (unsuccessfully) in the service department. She took my phone number and said she would have someone call me back. I still haven't heard from the service department at Apple Ford. Awful service!
