david harris01/27/15We rented brand new machines from Cloverland a few weeks ago for our yearly outing. We didn’t realize Cloverland sent us out on the trip without a space belt. The sled had over 2300 miles on it and the original belt failed. We were stranded on the trail and called Cloverland for help. They said it was our fault and that assistance would not be given. We had to tow the sled to the next town and paid over $100 for a new belt. Upon return, the Cloverland owner said we were on our own and that he wouldn’t reimburse the cost of the new belt. He went so far as to swear at us and said he didn’t care if we ever rented their again. Nearly all other rental locations include a spare belt. I would recommend choosing anyone else for sled rentals. I suggest Timberland Motorsports in Bergland.Jack L01/27/15This place will rob you. Trust me... the owner is not nice. He does not care about you or any other customer that uses their services. Horrible customer service... no greeting, no acknowledgement, no thank you. I'm not even sure they know who a customer is. I have rented from this place three times and have been screwed twice, paying for things completely out of our control. I have paid $100's in repairs that were bogus. Read the other reviews... DO NOT RENT FROM CLOVERLAND. Thankfully we stopped into a place in Bergland... they rent sleds too... go there instead.A Google User03/04/10I just wanted to write and thank Cloverland Rentals for a great business experience last weekend. My friend rented a Polaris IQ for a couple days, and the staff was great. Extremely helpful, polite and hard working. Picking up the sled took no more than 10 minutes, and it was clean and in great condition. We learned they trade out their inventory every year (brand new sleds every year). Wally was extremely helpful and pointed us toward some great trails. We will definitely be back next season. Thanks Cloverland.A Google User01/24/11This place is a complete disaster year after year for renting snowmobiles. There is no customer service involved for typical things like getting your electric visor hook-up into the sled for safer riding or sleds with half way decent carbides for steering. A business should be run with customer service being the number one priority, the guy running the parts department with a cigarette hangin in his face is the target for this email for why this business should be avoided at all cost on your trip up north. Almost like he felt insulted when I asked him for an inquiry on a part for a snowmobile. There are other Ski-Doo dealerships in the area and will be using them instead in the future.A Google User07/21/11Don't rent from this place unless you want them to blame you for problems their 4 wheelers already had. Rented a quad for 2 days and he added on 300 bucks for a scratch that was underneath the fender. I didn't beat on the 4 wheeler at all or crash it or do anything but ride it carefully. Some places you just don't want to rent from and Cloverland is definetly one of them.
