I personally took this drivers education program offered through Vicksburg Middle School. The class was taught by Kim Robertson, a teacher there at the middle school, and a partial owner of Complete Stop. The first day was fine, we talked about how the class was going to go each day, drive schedules, ext. That same day, we received our textbooks, and we read over the first chapter, taking notes along the way. For homework, we had some true or false questions to answer and some open ended questions. The next day, we took a quiz over the section, and then read chapters 2 and 3. It was like this every day, and it never changed. In the class they "taught" you how to steer using the push pull method, which is an utter piece of crap, it is the most difficult, and quite frankly I felt dangerous approach to steering, I had my own way of steering that works just as fine, and is even safer, and I was forced to pull away from that. The driving instructors, though I only had 3, were very critical and rude, and rushed every little thing you feel uncomfortable with, it was almost painful to sit there and drive. Come the end of the segment, we took the state final, which in its own was fairly difficult, because the many times the instructors would disagree with how something should be executed, and all of those things would be wrong, and therefore you would get punished for having the wrong answer, and almost failing. Homework would peak to almost an hour or more a night so expect a lot of homework. All in all, the class was absolutely horrible, it was taught poorly, the drives were not all that much better, I would highly recommend taking a drivers education course through either Easy Way or Sears.
