I purchased a used car from Crest Volvo about a month ago.
The car...there was one issue with the car and the sales woman was very up front about it. There was a glove compartment issue that they did not take care of though, which was disappointing. The price point was pretty good and lower than KBB.
The sale was what you would usually expect...pleasant, cordial, etc.. overall good customer service on the sales woman's part. Given my "glowing" personality, she kept all of her annoyed thoughts to herself...good job on that. Although she did want to sell the car, she wasn't overly pushy. I forgot the guys name in charge of financing, but he was also good. Very well skilled in keeping the customer calm. They did manage to sell me on that "vehicle service contract", but thankfully I can cancel at anytime.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, minus the glove box issue.
Great dealership, great experience and I think anyone looking for a Volvo in southeast Michigan should know about it.
I visited Crest after hours to 'eyeball' a particular model and color in the flesh, which I had seen on-line. They had what I wanted, I liked what I saw, so the next day I talked to Tiffany, one of their salespeople.
The operative word is 'easy'. They were easy to work with, best price by far - with no hard sell, no step-ups, none of what I was expecting and dreading. They handled half of the transaction right over the phone. They are 60 miles from my home round-trip but so worth the drive and time.
Do yourself a favor, check them out. The salesperson and finance person were a pleasure for me.
Unfortunately I hate to write such a bad review considering I was more than pleased with my Saturn Vue I bought in 2010 (never serviced at Crest) and I was extremely pleased with the purchasing process of my 2010 Hyundai Elentra I purchased in 2012 with the help of used car salesman Mike Merlot. However, my most recent service trip was a nightmare. I brought my car in because my low tire pressure light came on. Sure enough I had a bent rim, great living in Michigan during the winters. Service rep. David V was speedy about things and got me into a loaner no problem. Mind you he was in such a rush because they were closing in an hour that he failed to remember that I told me I was going to be out of town the all weekend. I call back the same night to confirm that having the loaner all weekend wasn't going to be a problem and the guy didn't have a clue. I was on my way out of town the next morning, driving along the highway I noticed the low tire pressure light on the loaner. I kept driving and sure enough the car began to shake. I called for a tow truck to come fix my flat since I was on the highway and didn't feel safe changing it. Come to find out he can't get the spare on because the bullets were stripped, so I had he tow me to the dealership and I paid this out of pocket. I had called the service department on my way in and told them the full story from last night and today. They acted like it was no big deal and if it was a pot whole I was the one to pay to fix it. The problem comes into play that I was on my way out of town and now I was going to miss my flight which I had explain on the phone while bringing the car in and again when I got there. I don't know about you but I am not made of money and can't afford to just blow 500 dollars on an unused airline ticket. I sat there for about 45 minutes before they came over to get the keys to the loaner. I was there for about two hours before I knew what was going to happen, I did not get a replacement loaner and they offered to call enterprise for me at my own expense. Great there going to over the cost of one out of two bent rims on the loaner, but you should be covering the cost of both as I do not own the loaner and should not be responsible for sending out a faulty loaner. They should also be willing to cover the cost of my tow, as it wasn't my car that I paid to have towed. And please know your shit when dealing with customers and realize there is a warranty. Also I have purchased two vehicles from you and my mother is on her third volvo. Poor customer service, you ruined my day and you lost a customer. I hope you like my BBB complaint. Good Day!
Jim Bolen is a wonderful salesman. He helped me with everything when I bought my 2010 Malibu, even helping set up my contacts in the Bluetooth caller that goes through the speakers.
Any other time that I've been there, Mr. Bolen has made it clear that he actually cares about my safety and how I am getting along with the car. He really reminds me of my dad in some ways, which is very comforting.

I recently purchased a car at the Crest Volvo Hyundai dealership and was very impressed with my experience. I worked with Mark in sales and he was respectful, friendly, and extremely helpful. I shopped around at a couple other dealerships while making my purchase decision but ultimately decided to complete the sale at Crest Volvo Hyundai as Mark was much more cooperative and accommodating.
I will be sure to recommend this dealership as well as my salesman, Mark to anyone I know that is interested in purchasing a vehicle. I really appreciate how well I was treated - thank you for the great experience!

Joe was a really fantastic salesman. He listened to all of my concerns and needs and fit me perfectly to my car. After my purchase I visit the dealership to get all of my up keep done and Steve, in the shop, is the best. The salesmen will make you a coffee while you're waiting for your oil change and Steve is happy to answer any and all questions from bike racks to hubcaps!
I live in Chelsea and have been finding excuses to drive to Macomb every month or so for service because I'm treated so well at Fiat of Lakeside. Never been a negative experience, and the one issue I have had with the car -- a bum shock -- they persistently worked at until they had diagnosed and fixed the problem. Steve is a great guy to work with, always friendly and accommodating. Joe was a straight shooter as a salesperson, and he always stops to visit with me when I am there for service. I would recommend the dealership without reservation.
I was a first time buyer who was treated very poorly at Golling FIAT, but when i came to FIAT of Lakeside and met Joe, my experience could not have been better! Joe treated me with respect and made my experience fun and exciting, just as it should have been. He took the time to explain every detail of my car to me and reassured me that if i ever had any questions he was always there to answer them. I can't wait to take my 500 Cattiva Sport back to get further detailing done to personalize it even more! Joe Rios at FIAT of Lakeside enabled me to get the car of my dreams at a price i could afford. I would never go anywhere else!
Since my first time purchasing a new vehicle at Fiat of Lakeside, my expiences with the staff have been nothing but fantastic. The crew in the repair shop and the staff in the front office have always been professional and personable and they have thoroughly fixed any problems with my car and oil changes are always fast. They also follow through with what they say they're going to do and they do it well. Never any second-guessing or problems and if an issue is under warranty, it's fixed at no cost. And I actually enjoy my couple of hours to hang out and spend some quiet time drinking my coffee in their guest area and relax which I don't get often.
