5 Stars - I had a recall from Ford for some battery terminal connection issue and Barber Ford got me in very quickly, finished the job earlier than expected, and gave me a loaner car to drive. I have always had very excellent service from knowledgeable and friendly employees and I am very happy about that. Again, keep up the great work and the friendly hometown atmosphere.
5 Stars - I've always appreciated Barber Ford and their friendly service. Pete Shearer was great to work with when I bought my car, and the service people have also been helpful - although I'm thankful to report that my 2014 Focus has needed very little service. Go FORD!
5 Stars - Service was prompt, efficient and timely. The service department goes out of their way to make you feel valued and the customer lounge is stocked with complementary snacks reading material, beverages with a business center located adjacent. Great dealership!
5 Stars - Brad ,in Service, is just wonderful. Smokey, in the body shop, is just great. Pete S., in Sales ,is excellant.
We lease two cars every other year and this is our "go to place" for all things automotive. Love it.
1 Stars - I purchased a used Fusion from here roughly two years ago. The day after I got it, while across the state, there was an issue with the breaks, causing damage to one of the rotors. The issue was the fault of the company, so they agreed to replace the rotor on that wheel, resurface the other rotors, and replace the rear pads. Two years later, less than 28,000 miles driven, I started having trouble with the breaks on that wheel again. I took it to a different dealership who told me that rotor was so damaged that it had destroyed the pads. They had no knowledge of the original repair. I find it interesting that the other three rotors, which were older and had more miles on them, were in excellent shapes.
I called Barber and explained the situation to a mechanic who said that the other garage (which is another Ford dealership) must be lying to me. I then left a voicemail for the used car manager at Barber. He called back and read the report on the work done originally. I had already acknowledged that I knew this information. I called him back and he is yet to return my calls.
I know that a few hundred dollars may not seem like much, but it was a lot to me at the time. I asked Barber to make this right. I did not want to believe that they lied to me originally, but the fact that they will not return my calls makes me believe otherwise. I would caution anyone against purchasing here. Make sure you get clear documentation for any work done and verify it with a mechanic you trust.
