2 Stars - I bought a Subaru from Joe's several weeks ago. I made the purchase with plans of replacing the timing belt. After having the car for a day, I noticed it was leaking oil. I called to let the sales guy know, and he told me that when the timing belt gets replaced the leak would be fixed because several gaskets are replaced in that process. He said "if it turns out to be something more, let me know". So I had the timing belt changed, and the car was still leaking oil. I called back and was told "that's between you and the repair shop". To their credit, they did reimburse me about $300 for some other repairs, which was good. I took the car to a local dealer and they determined the leak is coming from a head gasket, so the repair will cost me about $1,600. The dealer also told me the bottom of the whole engine was covered with oil and it was very obvious the car had a serious leak. If you plan to purchase a car at Joe's Auto Sales, be very careful. Based on my experience, I don't believe they inspect their vehicles prior to sale.
5 Stars - I looked for a truck for my Dad from Kalispell to Missoula, and even all the way to Great Falls. Instead of craigslist, I should have went to Joe's first. After a couple of other private deals falling through, and dealing with Eisinger Honda's poor treatment of my 74 year old veteran Dad (the day after Veteran's Day) we went to Joe's. My mechanic speaks very highly of Joe's and now my Dad and Mom are thrilled. They asked me to post this to let everyone know that Joe is not only is a good man that sells nice cars, he is now a friend.
5 Stars - I went to Joes to just get a running truck to get back and forth to North Dakota. I went in told him the price what I was looking for not only did he show me several trucks but all were better quality and cheaper price than what I was looking for. I chose a truck that ran great had a camper topper and deer guard . I use the truck quite often out in North Dakota it runs great. I did not have any of the usual hassles of a used car dealer. All the sales men were helpful not pushy did more talking than selling and very friendly. Joes offers a nicer quality used car but still at a fair price . I have three children that will be getting cars from Joes and recommend anyone to shop there. When I need another used car for myself I know where I am going. If you need a used car in good shape and hate used sales men go to Joes overall great truck great price great experience and no B.S. here is what they have lets make a deal attitude.
