5 Stars - I had a wonderful experience buying my first car here through Justin Johnson! He was very knowledgeable about the car, and made sure I was going to get a car that I loved and was safe for me. He helped me find the most affordable car that suited me well. I would recommend his service to others. Overall loved this place!
1 Stars - I called the day before to make an appointment to test drive a car. I specifically gave them my cell phone number to call me if it sold because I don't live in Omaha. The salesman, Able Thomas, said he would call if it sold but tried to get me to put down a deposit to hold the car. I told him if it was meant to be it would be there. Baxter then called the day of the appointment to confirm and I reiterated that the salesman was supposed to call if it sold and they said ok I'll let him know. So a few hours later I show up with the family to test drive the vehicle and the salesman walks out without the keys and pretends to not know where the car is? After going back inside he returns with keys to a different car and tells me the other one sold. When I asked why he didn't call me he got offensive and says that he warned me that I should have put down a deposit. Are you freaking kidding me...this is why I gave you my cell phone number! I took time off of work and drove over an hour. The truth of the matter is I would have considered other cars but the trust was broken by then. I left and bought a car from a different lot that day. I will never go back and will never work with Able Thomas again. I just missed a call from Baxter Ford so thanks guys for reminding me to write this review...and stop calling me!
1 Stars - Worst car buying experience EVER!! It took them nearly two months to get all of our paperwork inline and lied about numerous things a long the way. It definitely seemed like they cared about nothing except getting your money. I wasn't allowed to have someone in my back room who understood what was going and that meant I did not know all of the facts until later. I spent so much time out there and although I do like my car if I could go back in time I would shop somewhere else. I highly recommend staying away from this dealership if at all possible!
1 Stars - I have had terrible service on two different trips to their Service Department in the last 8 months. Last November, I brought in my 07 Hybrid for a check engine light. I was told I needed a number of new parts for the hybrid battery. I agreed to have to work done, and specifically asked if there was a Service Bulletin, and was told no (which there was but allegedly didn't apply to my specific VIN number, just all other cars of that year and model). The repairs weren't done when promised, and I sat in their waiting room for several hours when I had been told when I arrived that the repairs were done and it would be just a short wait while they finish up.
Silly me, I thought it was just a one-time fluke. And took my beloved, hybrid back to the dealership this week. I called ahead, made an appointment to have my air conditioner looked at as it isn't cooling completely. I waited 5 days for an opening (rather than going to Jensen that could get me in same day). I arrived at the dealership at 8:55 for my 9:00 a.m. appointment, waited 10 minutes for someone to even greet me. I was told it would take about an hour for the diagnostic review and they would call me. I then waited another 40 minutes for the courtesy shuttle to show up. At 3:30 in the afternoon, I still hadn't heard from anyone at the dealership so I called to find out what was going on. After being transferred around, and told no one was available to help me, I was finally connected with a Service Adviser. Who had all sorts of excuses for why I wasn't called - new employees, they were backed up when I dropped my car off with jobs that were still pending from the day before (at this point, I am thinking that it would have been nice to know they were more than 3 hours behind when I dropped it off). AND, by the way, they don't know what is wrong with the car and will need to keep it overnight.
As I spend the next hour scrambling to find transportation, I get a call back at 5:00 p.m. and am told they finally figured it out - they had to connect it to the computer 3 times to get a reading (which strikes me, and my mechanic friends, as odd). I need a new fan... as a part of the same assembly (hybrid battery) that they worked on in November. In answer to my question as why that wasn't noted in November - I was told it didn't kick that code out in November. Seriously? They didn't look at all the assembly as they were replacing 50% of it to see what else needed to be replaced? I thinking the labor to replace the fan when they had it all torn apart already would be less than the $450 in labor they want to charge me now (more than $100 an hour).
My biggest complaint was the failure to communicate with me when they were delayed, behind, etc. In order to plan how long one will be without a car, communication is key. Nothing is more frustrating that to be in the dark.
5 Stars - Great experience at Baxter Ford. Eric Maynor - salesperson & John Carnes - Synch Class; Excellent!!! Eric Maynor was great. We would definitely recommend him. Eric wasn't pushy and made us feel very comfortable through the process. He made sure we knew the options available and got what we needed.
I just took the Sync class with John Carnes. Excellent!!! He is very knowledgeable about the Sync system. He answered some questions I had as well as showing me other things I didn't know. I would absolutely recommend taking the Sync class with John.

5 Stars - I bought a Volvo from Kelvin at Infiniti of Omaha. I began working with him online, and he was very courteous and helpful with any questions I had as I shopped through different vehicles. When they posted the stats about the Volvo, it had just been traded in, and hadn't had any photos taken yet. He was willing to take some pictures on his phone and send them to me while it was being detailed so I could decide if it was worth my time to come in and test drive it. Once I did, the entire staff was very friendly, and I was able to negotiate a fair deal and take possession of the Volvo that same day.
Within the first week, a couple of mechanical issues arose that were not previously apparent when I bought the car. Mike Moore, the used car manager, took care of it as soon as I contacted him. I dropped the Volvo off on two separate occasions, and they had a loaner vehicle ready for me. They were able to get the problems fixed, and I couldn't be happier with the car and my experience buying from Infiniti of Omaha!
1 Stars - Horrible service department! I highly recommend going somewhere else. This used to be a good dealership, but lately the service has gone completely downhill. If there is a SES light on, their "Certified" mechanic will insist that the most expensive repair be made when in fact, it could be something far less expensive to replace. I've had to take my vehicle in multiple times for the SAME issue, and yet it is not fixed. Beware if you get a loaner car because it won't have any gas in the tank, but they will charge you if you don't return it with gasoline. Once upon a time, this used to be a great dealership, but since it has been sold to another company, it can no longer be trusted. I highly recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE!
4 Stars - Infiniti vehicles sell themselves, it is the employees that make the difference. We worked with Jake Wise through internet sales. He was very accommodating as we test drove a couple of different cars. He was very pleasant and professional. It is still the typical car buying process but in the end we bought the car and my wife loves it.
4 Stars - We were very pleased with our experience at Infiniti of Omaha. We were treated very well and felt that we got the best deal on our trade in as well as the price on the vehicle. Cindy Kroll, our sales rep, did a great job taking care of us and making sure the experience was first class.... which it was! THANK YOU!
5 Stars - It's a great place! The whole team was wonderful to work with. They followed up on all my questions in a timely manner and did not pressure or hassle me.
