I am so pleased with Akron Auto Clinic. You can trust the owner, Fred Franks, to be honest and fair with your vehicle and repair needs. I recently had my Lincoln repaired and I am very happy with the work they did. They even cleaned the interior!

I took my car here last week because I recently moved from Canton to Akron and needed to find a mechanic. After reading positive reviews online I decided to take my car to Akron Auto Clinic. Big mistake! While they waived the cost of the vehicle inspection and offered me a discount, the mechanic told me that I needed $2500 in front end repairs to drive the car safely off the lot. I drive a 2002 Corolla that is not worth anywhere near that much so I took it anyway and drove it to my old mechanic in Canton. They told me that there were no safety issues at all with the car, and that the total cost for repairs, which were not even pressing, would be $284. Second opinions are always important, but especially when there can be this much of a price difference, one that made me think that I was going to have to run out and buy a new car because the repairs were too expensive.
Don't waste your money here.
They apparently don't know what they are talking about.
Took my car to find the alignment problem few weeks ago... The guy named "Seth" (printed on his uniform) and the manager(tall white guy) tried to convince me that my tierods are bad and needs replacement although they are in good shape. They gave me a quote of $500 (later I found from other mechanic that the tie rods are good and part that costs $10 must be replaced)
Also, they are very much busy in eating pizza than taking care of customers.
That manager talks as if he knows something... But he doesn't!!
Save money, Go somewhere else.
These guys saved me! Finally a mechanic that doesn't try to rip you off. They loaned me mea car for free while they worked on mine too, I'll never go anywhere else
Service was great. Prices were trustworthy. The mechanics knew what were they were doing. What more could you ask for!
