These people are rude. I was speaking to a receptionist named Marilyn who hung up the phone on me as I was in the middle of a sentence and asking her a question. Apparently, there is a limit on asking questions about how to obtain a driver's license in the state of Oklahoma and within Oklahoma City proper. I'm moving from NYC, and I am scheduled to be fully relocated to a new apartment there by Nov 1, 2016. I haven't been driving for about 19 years now consecutively, and I know that things might have changed a bit since 1997. Of course my license has expired after sixteen years, and I was just asking about the procedures on how to get a license in Oklahoma City. There is a long waiting list here in NYC to obtain a road test because of a large amount of people in a large city like NYC who are requesting a driver's license. In fact, today is Sept 30, 2016, and the next day for a road test is somewhere in the month of November. I am expecting my lease on a new apartment in Oklahoma City to start by November 1, 2016; so I cannot wait here in NYC until sometime in November after my scheduled move-in date. Who would want to do that ...? I am a junior level engineering student who is transferring to Oklahoma City in order to complete my bachelor's degree. It was not too long into the conversation when Marilyn panicked, provided me with another number to call which was no longer in service, and then she abruptly hung up the phone. How rude!!! I had to call another driving school representative on North Rockwell Avenue, where the agent was much more helpful. For not having moved to Oklahoma City yet, Marilyn has definitely painted the area with a negative appeal.
Mel and Dale were very knowledgeable instructors with very clear teaching abilities. The course is straight forward and great for beginners. I have some years of riding experience and still learned some new things in just two days. Great school, great class
My husband and I just completed the BRC1 course and it was well worth every penny! Gary and Kurt were experienced riders and excellent instructors. Very impressed with the whole experience from scheduling onine through course completion
I took the motorcycle basic course in 2015 in Oklahoma City and thought it was excellent. It was obvious the instructors were very well qualified and not only cared about making us better riders, but also furthering motorcycling as a whole. A few students didn't pass the exam at the end of the course, but the instructors even stayed behind on their own time to ensure they had another shot at passing.
The course uses the nationally recognized Motorcycle Safety Foundation curriculum with relevant and helpful exercises. The motorcycles are all new and in good shape.
I'd recommend this course and these instructors.
My husband and I just finished the motorcycle 1 day course our 2 instructers were awesome they were funny while also making sure we knew what we needed to know. I would highly recommend taking the beginners course even if you have been riding for a yr. You don't know what you don't know until a skilled instructor shows you how to do it the right way.
