1 Stars - Al Pettit and Ben work/own this HD shop but google allows them to give themselves five stars, look up Yelp! Anyone thinking of having this Slop Shop doing any work on your scoot be for-warned. Many in Coos Bay Oregon will not go to this place due to the owners (Al Petit?) denial of his Technician incompetency with mechanics besides the parts manager Ben who tells me they have part for bike that is an Ultra, I run in from Langlois Oregon to Coos only to find he had sportster oil sensor unit, dear God this is not a mistake but incompetency at its best. Ben looks at me knowing the distance I traveled to smile and say sorry and do you want me to order one!!! Had the Electronic brain in bike replaced where one plugs in takes 15-20 minutes to be charged $500 on part and another $500 for service from George! And Lincoln has been written up by other shops on his poor work. After 11years dealing with 101 we all have given up!!! Please Al, sale the shop let someone with pride and service clean up the mess you have made.
UPDATE 1-2-15: Al, (owner of HD 101 in Coos Bay), look up yelp on it reviews of your shop and one can see you are living in denial with a 1.5star rating on Yelp. Hopefully Google will see you and your employees are giving yourselves 5 stars on Google but in time Google will see you are a poor rating shop also. BTW other HD shops have stated your techs were wrong on their service work, have that in writing by Bobs HD in Fond du lac Wisconsin I can scan/post on site if you like. I use to think you, Al, was an owner with good intentions with employees that do poor service, but one can see you are living in DENIAL.
UPDATE 1-11-15: FOLLOWING IS FROM YELP WHERE OWNER AL PETTIT ATTACKS AGAIN;
Rant all you want, Conrad. My Service business was up a whopping 20% last year and my three Bar & Shield Awards (three in the last five years) aren't going anywhere. Our customers like us and they tell Harley they like us. I assume your business is slow or you wouldn't be investing so much time whining about a twelve year old work order. I do hope things pick up for you soon.
Owner Al Pettit has made several other rude remarks and now has edited/ deleted them, I guess somebody has informed him he is attacking others on their reviews and it was not a good sign. This update response from Mr. Pettit was done through yelp email, so he can not edit. Have to say, never seen a shop like Highway 101 Harley-Davidson be so aggressive with their demeanor. Maybe Al can get more of his employees and relatives to chime in on 5star ratings since those that they damaged or overcharged working on bikes will give LOW ratings if any at all.
5 Stars - we bought our First Harley in 2006 from Danny and Barbara at Highway 101 Harley Davidson and have been loyal customers through three more Harleys and change in ownership to Al and Karen. Our experiences with the 101 owners and staff have always been and continue to be extremely positive, even uplifting. Our visits are as if we are seeing old friends again. Services have never been an issue and help is always available even when hundreds of miles away as the staff and owners go out of their way to answer and assist even by phone. The work done through the service department has always been impeccable and professional. The best Being on my '09 Ultra with Lincoln performing a "Screaming Eagle" upgrade that continues to impress me whenever I ride. We can leave 101 Harley after having our bike serviced, repaired, or just checked out with complete confidence that all work has been performed to the highest standards. We Consider Highway 101 Harley Davidson to be our home away from home.
5 Stars - I have done business with HWY 101 Harley Davidson since 2001 in the parts and service areas. I have purchased several motorcycles from them since 2006 and have found their customer service to be excellence. All staff members and service technicians have always gone far beyond normal expectations of Customer Service industry standards to provide high quality assistance to myself and family members and others that I ride with on a daily basis. Several years ago we were on a trip when a fellow rider had an electrical malfunction, I was able to call and get assistance from the service department , that allow me to isolate the problem and get us on the road again. After traveling cross-country and returning to the dealership they had the parts needed and my riding friend was back on the road for our continued trip. I have logged over 100,000 miles on my Harley’s since 2003 and have experience service and sales department throughout this state and others; I have found no one that provides better Customer Service anywhere else. I recommend Al and Karen along with the staff at HWY 101 for your next Harley Purchase/Service.
Jesse A. Morrow,
1 Stars - That's great Al. Give yourself 5 stars when you reply to the review. And Ben Scardi, who also works there at Hwy101 HD, gave you another 5.stars. Your real approval rating is 2.75 stars out of 5. Gee....if you could just get that worthless Lincoln Miller and that even more worthless Ben Hardin to chime in with a couple more 5 star ratings, you can keep people thinking the shop is great.
You just need to "clean house" and get some decent employees.
5 Stars - Conrad - even though the work you're referencing occurred six years before I owned the dealership, we always take customer feedback seriously. Cheers.

5 Stars - As a response to the purchase of the Honda Civic on ebay,my ebay rating is 100%
the seller was a dealer operating in the state of Washington,upon completion of the sale I was excited to purchase an extremely low mileaged car (almost unheard of) after sale was completed he told me he had title,but to find out later there was no title,I was starting to become suspicious as he told me I could acquire title with the paper work he had,to find out later it was not possible,I then realized the reason he had not gotten a Washington title was because he was avoiding Washington sales tax and license,I got further suspicious why did the car have so few miles when it was purchased back east,it is my obligation to protect the integrity of our dealership,and the customers we do business with here and got cold when I became suspicious.
Sincerely Dan Messner Sales manager Honda World
2 Stars - I posted my 2002 Honda Civic on Ebay. The car had literally 346 miles on it. The manager Dan Messner (at Coos Bay Honda) Bid on my car and contacted me. I agreed to end the auction and lowered the "buy it now" price to $11800. He "bought it now" and I contacted him. I had the appropriate paperwork so he could get a title, but he told me I had to change the title or he wouldnt buy it. Then after a month and me incurring the fees from ebay, he backed out altogether without even looking at the car.
Is it that Coos Bay Honda has employed a bad egg? Or is it a careless apathetic business altogether?
Regardless, Ill never do business there.

1 Stars - We went in to buy a "toad" (car to tow) for our motorhome. The salesman must have concluded I was as obtuse as he. At my age, I no longer have the patience or the time to suffer fools, so we went up the street to Verger and bought a Grand Cherokee 4X4. The moral to be learned here is that not everyone shopping for a tow car in North Bend is a high school dropout.

5 Stars - Best in customer service, love the waiting room. Free coffee and muffins! They never push to sell, they try to really find what you need !!
