Honest! Fair! The best! I had a broken exhaust at the point where the catalytic converter meets the header pipe. Having had a lot of exhaust work done in the past, I knew it could be welded, but I also knew that if I went to Midas or Meineke they would only be willing to sell me a new exhaust to the tune of hundreds of dollars. I went to Ray, and braced myself to argue the point that it could be welded rather than replaced. Ray looked at it, and to my surprise said "you want me to weld it?" I told him "sure". He did the job and charged me so reasonably, that I paid him extra for his fairness. Honestly, I didn't know there was anyone left who was more interested in doing the right thing rather than squeezing me for every dollar they could get out of me. Go to Ray! He is truly a rarity among today's auto repairman.
I agree with the high recommendations on here. My check engine light was throwing off a cat conveter code. One shop wanted to push a new converter. When I called Ray he just said bring it on, probably a leak. When i got there he told me he had never had to replace a converter on a Volvo. He put it on the lift and right away saw that the flex pipe was broken. Next week, he cut out the old portion and installed a new flex pipe - $120. 3 days of driving and the check engine light went out. He is pleasant and really good to deal with
Great price, great work
Just had the y-pipe on my car replaced at Ray's. He did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend him for any exhaust related job.
Ray is so awesome. Just got back with a great price and great work done to the car. Would highly recommend him to everyone. Ray is a really nice guy.
