He is an awesome teacher. Great sense of humor. Very flexible and willing to work with you. As long as you show up on time and make an effort, you'll be good. I highly highly recommend him to anyone trying to take this class.
Metro Driving School on Duke Street is great! I didn't know what to expect by the building's appearance. However, the instructor was vibrant, humorous and extremely knowledgable. Great experience!
I had great experiences in Titus Driving School. He taught me how things that I knew it was correct but in different ways. It was amazing for me having Titus Driving School.
I suppose I have to write another review because apparently the owner also lies in responses to negative reviews on here in order to save his company some embarrassment.
I did not demand to be seated in the current class and yes you DID in fact call me stupid. Of course I am a disgruntled customer, it is not because I did not get to be in the class (as if someone would be upset to not have to attend an 8 hour class), it is because you legitimately called me stupid in the words "I think you're missing something up here, buddy" as you pointed to your head.
I already admitted to coming to class late and not a single time demanded to be accepted in the current ongoing class. If you misunderstood something, that is completely on your part, but I certainly didn't misunderstand you calling me stupid.
You are even more unprofessional than I thought by doing exactly what I mentioned you would do in response to my post. You obviously don't know how to treat customers, more-so, you don't know how to treat unhappy customers. No good business argues with a customer. They serve to assist the customer as best they can and apologize for any inconvenience, rather you continue to make an attempt at blaming what happened on the customer and do not accept your own faults.
You say you did not call me stupid because there were other students in the class, but we weren't even in the class. You weren't even teaching the class. All of the people IN the class were watching a video while you were in some back room. You and I were outside of the class, in front of the entrance, at your desk. You came from a back room to assist me. After talking, you called me stupid for thinking the class was later than it actually was.
This complaint is based solely around you calling me stupid, NOT about me being unable to attend the class. No matter how professional your online writing might seem, it will not change the fact that you called a customer stupid and then attempted to cover it up. Take responsibility. Having 10,000 students over time does not mean it is impossible for you to make mistakes.
Your unprofessionalism is clear by your extreme willingness to prove an unhappy customer wrong instead of apologizing and offering to suspend or fire the offending employee. But of course, you wouldn't do that because the person who made the offense was the owner himself. How professional.
I honestly wish I could go below one star. I chose this driving school because the website looked very professional. After going to its location and speaking to it's "owner" I found that it was anything but. I tried to take a Driving Clinic class but unfortunately mistook the start of the class for a different time. I likely would have checked my required completion date and just come back next week.
That thought left my mind once the owner, or whoever was at that small, paper-filled, messy table within a small cramped room insulted me for my mistake. After my mistaking the class time, he proceeded to point to his head and say "I think you're missing something up here, buddy." More directly, he called me stupid. Not to mention how defensive and passive aggressive he was before even insulting me.
When I had called, before the whole "calling me stupid" incident, I had called their "office" and I now realize it sounded like the same person who called me stupid (or it may have just been someone else with a thick accent). Just as one of the previously mentioned comments. He sounded like he was in a rush to get me off the phone and just simply didn't sound like he wanted to talk to me for any longer. What kind of company doesn't have time for a customer who is trying to pay for their service?
Sure, I made a mistake, but there is no reason to call a paying customer stupid. The place looked unprofessional, the people were unprofessional. The only good thing was that you get your money back really quickly.
Do NOT go to this place. Any company who has the audacity to call a customer stupid after happily paying for a service does not deserve any customer at all.
If this gets a response from the owner, just as all the other negative comments did, it'll likely be to make it seem like his unprofessionalism and uncomfortable environment was my fault. I admitted I mistook the class time, but not a single time was I rude, even after being called stupid. The only thing I requested was my money back. There are plenty of better companies to go to for the same services, I'm sure they will value you far more. Good luck!
