1 Stars - IT SEEMS LIKE THEY DIDNT LIKE WHAT I HAD TO SAY SO THEY TOOK MY REVIEW DOWN. SO LET ME REPOST IT AGAIN. I CAME IN LAST YEAR TO TRADE IN MY VEHICLE. EVERYTHING WAS GOING GOOD. MY SALESMAN (MARBIN) WAS PRETTY HELPFUL IN THE BEGINNING. THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS (ABOUT 2-3 DAYS) HE ASSURED ME HE'D GIVE ME A WARRANTY TO "EASE MY MIND." NOT ONCE DID HE MENTION I'D HAVE TO PAY FOR THE WARRANTY NOR HAS HE EVER MENTIONED A PRICE. THE DAY COMES FOR ME TO GIVE MY DOWNPAYMENT AND SIGN THE PAPERS FOR MY NEW CAR. I GET COPIES OF MY PAPERWORK BUT ONE THING IS MISSING, THE WARRANTY. I ASK HIM FOR COPIES OF THE WARRANTY AND HIS REPLY........THERE IS NO WARRANTY. I NEVER WANTED TO CURSE A PERSON OUT SO BAD AS I WANTED TO DO HIM THAT DAY. IM GUESSING BECAUSE IM A WOMAN THAT CAME THERE ALONE, HE THOUGHT HE COULD PULL A FAST ONE ON ME. THINK AGAIN SWEETIE!!! AFTER TELLING HIM OFF, I HAD ALL CONTRACT PAPERS SHREDDED AND I GOT MY DOWNPAYMENT BACK. BY THIS POINT I AM COMPLETELY TURNED OFF AND NO LONGER AM INTERESTED IN THIS VEHICLE. THIS IS WHERE MADAME NOELL (THE MANAGER-HE'S REALLY A GUY BUT NAGS YOU LIKE A WOMAN) COMES IN. HE STARTS GOING ON WITH HIS NONSENSE THAT I WAS NOT TRYING TO HEAR. AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED, THAT WAS A CASE OF FALSE ADVERTISMENT. AFTER THAT EXPERIENCE, I HAVE NEVER GONE BACK TO ARLINGTON MOTORS NOR WILL I REFER ANYONE TO THEM. ALSO, I'D LIKE THE WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES AT ARLINGTON MOTORS TO KNOW THAT EVERY TIME YOU HAVE REVIEWS OF THIS SLIMEBALL BUSINESS TAKEN DOWN, THEY WILL BE REPOSTED. ESPECIALLY MINES!!!!

5 Stars - My experience with CarMax in Woodbridge was very positive. I had a vehicle shipped, at my cost, from Los Angeles, California, sight unseen. My sales consultant, Donna Rodgers, spent hours answering dozens of emails and placed several phone calls to the Los Angeles CarMax. Donna was very professional and patient with my volume of inquiries. The vehicle I purchased was competitively priced and hard to find. It was also in immaculate, almost new, condition and it is a 5 year old car. The only hiccup in the entire purchase process was damage sustained to the vehicle when being unloaded from the car carrier. Although I was initially disappointed, CarMax repaired all issues and identified additional items that needed to be addressed. After all repairs were complete, navigating their finance department was easy. In addition, I purchased a CarMax warranty that was thousands less than any other offered by the many credit unions I belong. They also provide license plates and registration on site, so no waiting at the DMV. I would also like to note that any flaw identified after the purchase was addressed within the allowed 30 day period. A local dealer performed a thorough evaluation of the vehicle and CarMax addressed the issues identified by the other dealership.
Donna Rodgers was wonderful to work with and overall I had an excellent car buying experience.
4 Stars - Excellent sales and service staff. Seek out Mike Lacount for an exceptionally hassle-free car buying experience. I got a great trade in value for my old truck, and drove off in the nicest truck I've owned to date. The truck was prepped nicely for final delivery to me, and in my excitement I failed to inspect the underside of the truck. This was well over a week since I drove off the lot, and I was fearing I would have to "eat" the problem. I called my sales guy Mike, and he hooked me up with the folks in the service department. I was taken care of right away, and they are replacing the damaged part free of charge. Once I picked out the truck, I spent only approximately one hour in finalizing the deal. Great place, great selection of cars and most importantly, great people!
4 Stars - All went well. Nice array of inventory. No hassle, no issues (except in the back-end office- that worked out anyway). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a car. This was my first time in a CarMax store and was impressed with the professionalism and flurry of activity. Still felt like I was the most important customer.
3 Stars - We purchased a used 2010 Nissan Pick-up this month. We appreciated the sales associate's manner, knowledge, patience and commitment to our investment. I will be happy to recommend our associate, but I cannot recommend the prep team, who did a substandard job in preparing the vehicle for our departure. The seats were covered in dog hair, dirt, grime, food and large debris littered the floor and between the seats, the windshield was dirty, the hard vinyl surfaces of the interior were stained and dirty. Having purchased many vehicles in my lifetime, I have developed a certain expectation of what "customer ready" means and this vehicle was very far from that expectation. I seriously doubt I would buy from CarMax again.
5 Stars - In my opinion, this experience was excellent. The vehicle I found was from another state and I was a little leery about paying the transportation fee based only seeing the vehicle in pictures. My sales rep (April) understood my concerns and asked for all the questions I had and arranged for a telephone call between her and the sales rep at the location. This was very helpful and answered all my concerns. I had a vehicle shipped from Georgia and that process was seamless. The vehicle arrived within the specified timeframe and I was kept in the loop the entire time. Once the vehicle arrived, I was notified and went to the location to view it. The vehicle was just as expected based on the photos and the additional questions that were answered. There were a few minor issues that I addressed and my sales rep (Chris) was outstanding in resolving the concerns. The concerns were a busted windshield wiper, the auto up switch on the passenger window did not work, there was only one remote headset for the entertainment system, no owner’s manual, and only one key fob. My sales rep (Chris) and the Service rep (Spencer) took care of all the issues and Spencer called me periodically to keep me updated on the items that needed to be back ordered. My opinion of the overall experience was outstanding. I would use CarMax again in the future.
