Aaron H07/08/15They were terrible. The receptionist never returned my or my daughter's phone calls. They sometimes returned my email, and it was terse and rarely helpful. At first they were pleasent and I ended up taking both of my children there. We ended up going somewhere else to get the final tests done, after three months of no response. I think the tests were also bad, because my daughter said that it was way easier than Shield's test.Gary Young03/09/15The problem with this place is not the instructors. The classes are great, the instructors are retired/current officers; they're very knowledgeable and friendly. The problem is the reception. There is only one person there. Customer service is nonexistent. She never calls to confirm appointments. If you call and disagree with her she will hang up on you. I recommend interacting with the front desk as little as possible. Learn here, take the skills test elsewhere. I recommend Defensive Driving School in U District, University Heights School building. They should really hire someone else to be the public facing component of this school. It's dragging the entire business down. Otherwise it would be the best one in the city.Goran Smith03/13/15I failed the first time, but the instructor gave me a couple of good pointers and advice. Professional service.Shaeleen Fagre03/04/14Loved this driving school! The program was quite thorough and I especially liked the police officer involvement. The staff was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. Thanks for doing an excellent job, Shield Driving School!nazim uddin08/04/14I think the instructor has a ultimate conflict of interest how he can make more money. And instructor can screw you up with his experience.
