New Year's Day (or following Monday if holiday falls on weekend), Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

Class D and signs tests are available in English, Chinese, Hmong, Polish, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Somali and Spanish. CDL tests are available in English, Spanish and Russian, except for hazmat and school bus tests. The motorcycle test is offered in English and Spanish.
